We would like to gather in order to update, educate, and get new people involved.

The Tacoma Food Co-op (TFC) has reached a point where we need to gather more specific talent in the steering committee to keep moving us forward. There is a current need for legal knowledge, event planners/fundraisers, as well as administrative assistance, web design and maintenance. Thus, the current steering committee has decided to hold elections.

If you are interested in becoming a part of the steering committee please bring a brief 30-second statement to read at the meeting on the 7 th. If you are unable to attend the meeting please email your statement to tacomafoodcoop@gmail.com no later than Tuesday, November 6th. The statements will be read at the meeting and then a majority vote will be held to select the seven steering committee members. We will tally the votes during the meeting and announce the results before the meeting is adjourned.

Please spread this announcement around throughout all of your circles. We still need more investment in order for this to be an effective cooperative and move forward.
